At 1am, on June 30, 2011, Detroit Musician and friend to so many, Mike Anton was shot in the face outside his Hazel Park home. Aside from the fact that the attempted murderer remains at large, Mike, who thankfully survived, survives with a new debt of around 23 thousand dollars. Some of his family, friends, and peers are banding together to put on a benefit show at Lager House on October 7th, and ...other fundraising opportunities will also be unveiled soon as well. All proceeds from the show and related fundraising will be used to directly defray some of Manton's medical costs.
